Introduction
The Tabula Rasa Series grew out of the Casse-tete Series. In this series I contemplate our deep desire to start anew , to shed our imperfections and accumulated dross.
The most recent sculptures are cast bronze; the inner head polished to a mirror finish, the outer shell broken, textured and patinated then welded to the polished head. The larger sculptures stand about 20 inches high, the maquettes average 6 inches in height.
