Introduction
The sculptures in the Letterhead Series are a meditation on how we are shaped by symbols. As well as being fascinated with the textures and patterns of print I’m intrigued by the leap that was required to get from the oral spoken word to the visual symbols that became words and how those symbols permeate our visual perception.
